With Vintage now over First Creek winemaking team invites you to a celebration lunch and to challenge your wine blending skills.

Start the day with a bacon and egg sandwich and a glass of bubbles, tour the winery and learn about the winemaking process and sample from tank and barrel; warm up with barrel rolling, grape stomping and wine spitting then dine in the winery with wintery soup, pasta and desert married with First Creek Wines.

Over lunch, join the Hands On Lending Challenge, with the winning team receiving the prestigious Winemakers Medal.

Come along for a fun, structured wine tutorial and ask all those questions about wine that you have been wanting to discuss.

Tyrrell's team host two Masterclasses of 2010 Private Bin Reds and a BBQ lunch.

Visit the Icon Lounge during Hunter Wine & Food Month and taste the latest release Penfolds 2005 Grange against three of our Hunter Valley Icons – Brokenwood Graveyard, McWilliams Maurice O'Shea and Thomas Kiss.

But wait there's a catch... we are going to spice things up this year by making it a blind tasting! If you name the wines correctly you will enter in the draw to win an Icon Shiraz Pack valued at over $500!

Tantalise your tastebuds and warm the soul in the winter months and be sure to take home a few treasures to savour the day.

Sit back and enjoy the vista from our 'View' Table with stunning views of vineyard covered hillsides of this serene, tranquil valley. Heighten your wine tasting experience with a range of local Hunter cheeses paired with estate grown wines from Tallavera Grove vineyard.

During Hunter Valley Wine and Food Month Brokenwood Wines is opening up the barrel shed to show off some of our "works in progress". Sample components of our premium white and red wines from barrel before they are blended into the finished product.

Meet our winemaker Andrew Margan and our Margan Cellar Door team for structured tastings, wine education and cellaring advice or simply chat about the weather over a glass of wine!

Limited Stock of Vintage Ends – A range of aged wines will be offered for taste and sale in the Barrel Hall at the winery. Wines include medal winners, limited releases, great vintages as well as quaffers.

Allandale is offering our guests the opportunity to join the Allandale Winemaking staff in an intimate tasting evening.

The vertical tasting will be 10 years of Allandale Semillon, allowing guests to taste wines some of which we have less than a dozen left and will never be released again.

Hosted amongst the vats in the winery, you can see where it all begins to the finished product. You will be the first to taste our 2011 Winemakers' Reserve 'Creek Flat' Semillon, before it has even been bottled.
